Small Business Environmental Assistance Program National Logo
Small Business Environmental Assistance Program National Logo

Below is the Small Business Environmental Assistance Program (SBEAP) national logo that the promotional subcommittee of the National Steering Committee developed with a national advertising agency.  The initial design was selected by a vote from the 507 programs (36 states voted).  In January 2006, the programs voted and the decision was made to move from the name Small Business Assistance Programs (SBAPs) to Small Business Environmental Assistance Programs (SBEAPs) when referencing the programs nationally.  This should help the programs convey a clearer message of who we are and what we do to those outside the environmental area.  In support of this concept, the national logo has also been modified to include the word "environmental."

Please use the logo on publications (new publications or as you need to reprint those with old logos) to show the cohesiveness of the programs nationally and help establish the "brand" of the Small Business Environmental Assistance Programs.

Below are some of the suggested uses for the SBEAP logo:

  • States that currently don't have a logo for their SBEAP program can use this one as it is.
  • States that already have an identifiable logo for their program can use this one in conjunction with an existing logo.  They could have both their state and the national logo on their materials.  This will show a national tie.  (The logo may be manipulated in Microsoft Image Composer so states can change its colors to match an existing logo.)
  • States could modify the logo and add their state name to this national logo.  (Add your state name above, below or on the side of the logo.)
  • Logos may also be used on steering committee correspondence, EPA SBO's (Joan Roger's) materials, OAQPS small business activities, national SBO/SBEAP materials, newsletters, web pages, and other related items.
  • The logo is available in SPANISH! [¡La insignia está disponible en español!]
  • The logo can be used in letterhead and folder covers (see below).
  • The Annual Report can be included with mailings (see below).
